"I've sinned too much sexually, and now demons have legal access to my body."
How it sounds in your head: I've crossed lines physically or online, and now I feel dirty in a way I can't shake. I've heard that sexual sin gives demons 'legal rights.' I think I've invited something in that I can't get out.
"Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:14Religious lie that demons have 'legal rights' based on your sin, completely ignoring that Jesus' blood pays ALL legal debts and breaks ALL legal claims.
Sexual sin carries unique shame because it involves the body, and she feels the weight of that differently. The 'legal right' language sounds biblical and explains the lingering heaviness she feels.
She was caught in the act of adultery, dragged publicly, deserving stoning by law. Jesus didn't give demons 'legal access'—He canceled the legal claim entirely, saying 'Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more,' sending her away FREE.
I REFUSE the lie that my sexual sin gave demons legal rights to my body. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus wiped out EVERY legal claim against me, nailing it to the cross. My body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, bought with the blood of Jesus, and NO other claim stands. IT IS WRITTEN that there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus, and I am IN CHRIST. The enemy has no legal access, no open door, no right to my life. I am forgiven, cleansed, and BLESSED with the BARAK—the same covenant that covered Judah when he slept with his daughter-in-law, covering me NOW because my covenant is in Jesus' blood.
The Father doesn't see you as contaminated—He sees you as PURCHASED, and His Son's blood speaks louder than any accusation. He's running toward you with the robe of righteousness, not waiting for you to scrub yourself clean first.
