"These voices and thoughts mean I'm going crazy and it's too late to be healed at my age."
How it sounds in your head: You've watched friends decline mentally, seen the fear in their eyes as they lose themselves to dementia and confusion. Maybe this is the beginning. Maybe you're too old for your mind to be restored, and this is just your new reality.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Source: World says mental decline is inevitable with age, and religion made you believe God's power has an age limit.
The intrusive thoughts feel out of control, and you've seen older women dismissed as 'just getting old' when they report mental struggles. Age makes healing seem less likely.
Moses was 120 years old when he died, yet Scripture says 'his eyes were not dim nor his natural vigor diminished.' He started his GREATEST work at age 80 and maintained full mental and physical strength until his final day. Age was no barrier to God's power.
I REFUSE the lie that my age disqualifies me from mental healing and clarity. IT IS WRITTEN: God will RESTORE the years the locust has eaten. My youth is being RENEWED like the eagle's. IT IS WRITTEN: I have the MIND OF CHRIST, not the mind of decline. My mind is not deteriorating—it's being transformed by the renewing work of the Holy Spirit. I am under the BARAK blessing—the same covenant that kept Moses' mind sharp at 120. My latter years will be GREATER than my former.
The Father is not accepting mental decline as your fate—He's declaring RESTORATION over your mind. He sees you sharp, clear, and full of wisdom, and He's whispering: 'Daughter, I'm not done with you. Your best thinking is still ahead.'
