"I've opened demonic doors through past sins that can't be closed now."
How it sounds in your head: The things I did decades ago—the occult experimentation, sexual sin, rage—these opened doors that gave demons legal right. I've confessed, but the access remains because the damage is permanent.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."
-- Colossians 2:13-14Source: religion teaching 'legal rights' and 'open doors' that make demons stronger than Christ's blood, creating permanent spiritual consequences.
Past involvement in occult or deep sin feels like it created permanent spiritual vulnerability. The church taught about 'generational curses' and 'legal grounds' that confession alone can't fix.
Manasseh practiced witchcraft, consulted mediums and spiritists, sacrificed his own sons in fire, and filled Jerusalem with innocent blood—the WORST occult involvement. When he repented, God IMMEDIATELY heard him, brought him back to Jerusalem, and restored him. No 'doors' were too deep for God's forgiveness.
I REFUSE the lie that past sins opened permanent demonic doors. IT IS WRITTEN that Christ wiped out ALL handwriting of requirements against me and nailed them to the cross. No demon has legal right over what Christ's blood purchased. Every claim was CANCELED at Calvary. IT IS WRITTEN that if anyone is in Christ, he is a NEW creation; old things PASSED AWAY. Manasseh practiced the worst occult and was INSTANTLY restored. The BARAK blessing isn't based on my past—it's based on COVENANT. I am CLEAN, SEALED, and PROTECTED by blood, not behavior.
The Father isn't saying 'you're still vulnerable because of your past'—He's saying 'My Son's blood closed EVERY door.' Like the prodigal, you're not dealing with consequences of the pig pen; you're wearing the robe that declares CLEAN.
