"I've lost this battle with pain and sickness; the enemy has won my body."

How it sounds in your head: The pain never stops. The medications don't work. I'm trapped in this failing body. It feels like the enemy has taken territory in my own flesh and I can't get it back.

2 Corinthians 4:16-18

"Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal."

-- 2 Corinthians 4:16-18
Enemy whispers: I own your body, you've lost this battle, pain is my victory. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 - Though the outward man is perishing, the INWARD man is being RENEWED day by day. This 'light affliction' is but for a MOMENT, working an ETERNAL weight of GLORY. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 3:21 that Jesus will TRANSFORM this lowly body into the likeness of His GLORIOUS body. Satan hasn't won—this body is being TRADED IN for a model that CANNOT suffer.
Quick Truth: LIE: Satan won my body. TRUTH: Your outward man is perishing but inward man is RENEWED. This body is temporary; glory is eternal. (2 Cor 4:16-18)

Enemy: Making her see her body as Satan's territory instead of seeing herself as SPIRIT with a temporary tent that's about to be replaced with glory.

Why this feels true:

The physical pain is constant and undeniable. Every moment in her body feels like evidence of defeat. The enemy uses physical sensation to convince her he owns her.

Luke 16:19-22
Lazarus (the beggar)

Lazarus' body was covered in sores, he was starving, dogs licked his wounds—total physical defeat and suffering. The moment he died, INSTANT REVERSAL—angels carried him to Abraham's side. From suffering to COMFORT in one heartbeat. His body's failure was not Satan's victory; it was the DOORWAY to eternal comfort.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that Satan has won my body. IT IS WRITTEN that though my outward man is perishing, my INWARD man is being RENEWED. This body is TEMPORARY. This pain is for a MOMENT. An eternal weight of GLORY is being prepared. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus will TRANSFORM this body of humiliation into the likeness of His GLORIOUS body. Satan doesn't own my flesh—I am the TEMPLE of the Holy Spirit, and my REAL body is about to be REVEALED. This is not defeat; this is the TRANSITION from temporary to ETERNAL. I am not my body. I am SPIRIT, and my spirit is being made PERFECT.

But God actually:

Your Father isn't disappointed in your body's failure—He's eagerly waiting to HAND you the upgraded version. Every pain is the groaning of creation waiting for your REVEALING. Your real body is moments from its unveiling.
