"I've given so much that God owes me breakthrough, but He's withholding it because I'm not enough."
How it sounds in your head: I've sacrificed everything for ministry—time, money, relationships. I should be seeing breakthrough by now. If it's not happening, maybe I'm doing something wrong or God doesn't think I'm worthy.
"And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work."
-- Romans 11:6Transactional religion that teaches breakthrough is earned by sacrifice rather than received as covenant blessing.
She's watched others who seem less committed experience provision and breakthrough while she's still struggling. It feels like she's being punished or overlooked despite giving everything.
She gave her most expensive possession—a year's wages—at Jesus' feet. She didn't earn forgiveness by her sacrifice; Jesus said her sins were ALREADY forgiven. Her gift was RESPONSE to grace, not payment for it.
I REFUSE the lie that my sacrifice obligates God to perform. IT IS WRITTEN that grace is no longer grace if it's earned by works—breakthrough is my INHERITANCE, not my payment. I am not an employee earning wages but a daughter receiving the blessing of Abraham. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed in my storehouses, the head and not the tail, ABOVE only and not beneath because of COVENANT, not my sacrifice. God doesn't owe me; He's ALREADY given me everything in Christ. I release transactional thinking and receive as a DAUGHTER.
The Father is saying, 'You're trying to PAY for what I already bought.' He's not withholding—He's waiting for you to stop performing and start RECEIVING as the daughter you already are.
