"I've given my whole life to ministry and now I'm too old and tired to finish strong."
How it sounds in your head: You served 40+ years and now you're running on fumes. Everyone expects you to keep preaching, keep leading, but you're exhausted. You'll die in the pulpit because quitting means failure.
"He gives power to the weak, and to those who have no might He increases strength. Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall, but those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint."
-- Isaiah 40:29-31Religious performance—ministry as transaction, not relationship.
Your body can't do what it once did, and you measure success by output. Every canceled event feels like letting God down, and you've watched peers die still striving.
Caleb was 85 years old when he declared, 'I am as strong this day as on the day Moses sent me; just as my strength was then, so now is my strength.' He didn't retire—he took MOUNTAINS at 85 and received his FULL inheritance instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too tired to finish. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives power to the weak and increases strength to those with no might. I am NOT finishing in my strength—I'm carried by HIS. IT IS WRITTEN that those who wait on the Lord RENEW their strength. My ministry was never about MY output—it's about HIS overflow through me. I am the BRANCH; He is the VINE. The BARAK blessing over Abraham protects me in my weakness, not just my strength. I declare RENEWED strength, divine energy, and mounting up with wings like EAGLES. I finish STRONG because HE is strong in me.
The Father isn't measuring your sermons or counting your ministry hours—He's delighted you're His son. You've been abiding, not just working, and NOW He's giving you the grace to REST in His finished work while He completes what He started through you.
