"I've crossed the line—I've committed the unforgivable sin and there's no way back to God."
How it sounds in your head: You went too far this time. When you doubted if God was real during science class, that was blasphemy. The Holy Spirit left you right then. You're permanently marked, permanently outside. Everyone else can be forgiven, but not you.
"Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them."
-- Hebrews 7:25Source: Religion's twisted teaching about the unforgivable sin, combined with enemy's accusation exploiting your emerging critical thinking.
Your brain is developing the ability to question everything, and questioning God feels like the ultimate betrayal. The fear is so intense that it actually proves you HAVEN'T committed it—because those who truly blaspheme the Spirit don't care.
Manasseh sacrificed his own children to demons, filled Jerusalem with innocent blood, practiced witchcraft and consulted mediums—fifty-five YEARS of the worst evil imaginable. When he cried out to God from an Assyrian prison, God HEARD him, brought him back to Jerusalem, and RESTORED him. If child-sacrificing, demon-worshiping Manasseh wasn't beyond forgiveness, neither are you.
I REFUSE the lie that I've crossed an invisible line God won't cross to reach me. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus saves to the UTTERMOST—and that includes the darkest doubt I've ever had. My worry about committing the unforgivable sin is PROOF I haven't committed it. IT IS WRITTEN that the one who comes to Jesus will NEVER be cast out—no exceptions, no fine print, no 'unless you thought the wrong thing.' I am Abraham's seed, heir according to the PROMISE, covered by the BARAK blessing that protected liars and deceivers. The Father is RUNNING toward me right now, not waiting for me to figure out if I'm forgivable.
The Father saw your doubt in science class and didn't flinch—He made your BRAIN to ask questions. He's throwing a party right now because the fact that you're worried means your heart is ALIVE to Him, and He's putting the ring of authority back on your finger while you're still smelling like fear.
