"I doubted God and now He won't use me or bless me anymore."

How it sounds in your head: I had a season where I wasn't sure God was real or if He cared. I questioned everything. Now I feel like I've disqualified myself from His plans for my life.

Jude 1:22

"And on some have compassion, making a distinction, on some have compassion with fear, pulling them out of the fire."

-- Jude 1:22
Enemy whispers: 'You doubted. Real believers don't doubt. You're disqualified now.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Jude 1:22 - 'On some have compassion, making a distinction' - even Jude acknowledges some struggle with doubt and need mercy. John the Baptist doubted from prison asking 'Are you really the One?' and Jesus called him the greatest born of women. Thomas doubted the resurrection and Jesus didn't reject him - He showed up and gave him evidence. Doubt doesn't disqualify you; it makes you human.
Quick Truth: LIE: My doubt disqualified me. TRUTH: Jesus showed up specifically for Thomas's doubt. Your honesty invites Him. (John 20:27)

Source: Religious teaching that doubt is the opposite of faith instead of the path to stronger faith, making honesty with God seem like betrayal.

Why this feels true:

You've heard that faith pleases God and you had a crisis where you didn't feel faith at all. The shame of your questions feels like you've disappointed Him beyond repair.

John 20:24-29
Thomas

Thomas missed Jesus' first appearance and said 'Unless I see the nail marks and put my hand in His side, I won't believe.' Jesus showed up specifically for Thomas, invited him to touch the wounds, and didn't remove him from the disciples.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that my doubt disqualified me from God's plans. IT IS WRITTEN that on some we have compassion - and God has compassion on me in my questions. Even John the Baptist doubted from prison and Jesus called him the greatest. My honest questions don't offend God - they invite Him closer. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from the love of God. The BARAK blessing didn't leave Jacob when he wrestled with God demanding answers. My wrestling makes me Israel - one who struggles with God and prevails. I am qualified by His blood. I am called. I am chosen.

But God actually:

The Father isn't intimidated by your questions or threatened by your doubts - He's strong enough to handle your honesty and close enough to meet you in it. He'd rather have your honest doubt than your fake certainty.
