"I've been standing in faith so long without results that I must be doing it wrong."
How it sounds in your head: You've done the faith confessions, the declarations, the Scripture standing. Years now. Nothing. Other people get breakthrough in weeks. You must be missing something—wrong formula, wrong method, wrong you.
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
-- Habakkuk 2:3Faith-as-formula teaching makes breakthrough a recipe you haven't mixed correctly instead of a Father relationship based on His character.
You've followed every faith teaching—confessed, believed, didn't waver—yet the checkbook, the diagnosis, the prodigal remains unchanged. The duration of delay feels like evidence of technique failure.
God promised Caleb the land at 40 years old. He waited 45 YEARS through wilderness and war. At 85 he said 'give me this mountain'—and took it. The promise didn't fail; it had an appointed time.
I REFUSE the lie that delayed breakthrough proves defective faith. IT IS WRITTEN in Habakkuk 2:3 that the vision has an APPOINTED TIME and will SURELY COME even while it tarries—God's timing doesn't mean I'm doing it wrong. Caleb waited 45 YEARS and still received his mountain at 85. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 1:6 - 'He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.' God WILL complete what He started; delays don't mean defects. I am Abraham's seed, heir of the PROMISE (Gal 3:29)—the blessing is MINE by covenant, not by perfect faith technique.
The Father isn't waiting for you to finally crack the faith code. He already said YES in Christ—every promise is YES and AMEN. The breakthrough is already yours in the heavenly realm; the appointed time is just the earthly unwrapping.
