You carry shame from past decisions or trauma that happened to you. You've heard purity sermons comparing girls to chewed gum or used tape. Your body holds memories you wish you could erase.
Five failed marriages, living with a man not her husband—entire town knew her reputation. Jesus didn't avoid her, didn't require her to clean up first, didn't shame her history. He SOUGHT HER OUT, revealed Himself to her FIRST, made her the FIRST EVANGELIST who brought her whole city to Him.
I REFUSE the lie that my past disqualifies me from love. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a NEW CREATION in Christ—not refurbished, not repaired, BRAND NEW. Old things PASSED AWAY. I am not damaged goods. I am REDEEMED, washed white as snow, presented to the Father WITHOUT SPOT. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 43:25 God blots out my transgressions and remembers my sins NO MORE—not 'remembers them sometimes,' NEVER. The BARAK blessing over me is based on COVENANT not history, on Christ's blood not my past decisions.
The Father doesn't see you through the lens of your past. He sees you through the blood of Jesus—perfect, pure, spotless. He's not calculating your history. He's celebrating your FUTURE as His beloved daughter.
