"I've been cursed by someone through witchcraft or spoken words and can't break free."
How it sounds in your head: Someone spoke something over me—an ex, a parent, maybe someone who practices witchcraft. I feel it. Things keep going wrong in patterns that don't make sense. I'm under a curse that someone else put on me, and I don't know how to break it.
"For there is no sorcery against Jacob, nor any divination against Israel. It now must be said of Jacob and of Israel, 'Oh, what God has done!'"
-- Numbers 23:23Source: Enemy magnifies fear of others' words or practices to make you feel victimized instead of recognizing your covenant protection supersedes all curses.
Someone did speak harsh words over him, or he knows someone who practices occult stuff, and the timing of his struggles seems connected. The spiritual warfare teaching he's heard made curses from others sound powerful and hard to break.
Balak hired Balaam, a powerful prophet, and PAID him to curse Israel. Balaam tried THREE TIMES from three different locations. Every time, only BLESSINGS came out of his mouth. God wouldn't allow His covenant people to be cursed—the BARAK protection was so strong that even a prophet HIRED to curse them could only bless them.
I REFUSE the lie that someone's curse or witchcraft has power over me. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO sorcery against Jacob, no divination against Israel—and I AM Abraham's seed through Christ. The BARAK blessing means NO CURSE CAN LAND on me. Balaam couldn't curse Israel even when PAID to do it. IT IS WRITTEN that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against me in judgment I SHALL CONDEMN. Spoken curses bounce off covenant protection. I am not a victim of others' words or practices—I am BLESSED coming in and going out, above only and not beneath. The blessing CANNOT be reversed.
The Father isn't concerned about someone's witchcraft or harsh words over you—He's the One who wouldn't let a hired prophet curse His people even when paid to do so. Like Israel protected by covenant when Balaam tried to curse them, you're under blood-bought protection that NO CURSE can penetrate.
