"I've asked questions God won't answer, so He must not be real"
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed for clarity, for signs, for proof. Nothing. If He's there, why the silence? Maybe unanswered prayers are actually just me talking to myself, and it's time to admit no one's listening.
"For the vision is yet for an appointed time; but at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry."
-- Habakkuk 2:3Assumes God's silence equals absence—but Scripture is full of delayed answers that test and deepen faith.
She's in a developmental stage craving immediate feedback (social media dopamine), so God's different timeline feels like rejection. Her prayers might be genuine while God's answers are in process, but silence feels like evidence of non-existence.
Habakkuk literally opened his book with 'How long shall I cry, and You will not hear?'—a prophet asking why God was silent. God's response wasn't immediate explanation but 'write the vision and wait.' The answer eventually came, and Habakkuk ended his book praising God.
I REFUSE the lie that God's silence means God's absence. IT IS WRITTEN that the vision tarries but WILL surely come—delay isn't denial. Habakkuk asked 'How long will You not hear?' yet God was already preparing the answer. IT IS WRITTEN that even Jesus felt forsaken on the cross, yet declared 'You answered Me' shortly after. I am the BARAK blessed daughter whose prayers are already heard in heaven. The answer is in motion even when I can't see it yet. Silence is the incubation room for breakthrough.
The Father hasn't stopped listening—He's preparing an answer bigger than the quick fix you requested. Right now, in the silence, He's orchestrating details you haven't even thought to ask about.
