"I'm too young to understand or participate in giving, that's for adults"
How it sounds in your head: Giving and tithing seem like grown-up things I'll understand later. Right now I should just focus on school and let adults handle the money stuff. I'm not old enough for this to matter yet.
"Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity."

Everything about money feels adult and complicated - taxes, bills, jobs. It's easy to see giving as one more thing she'll deal with 'when she's older' and focus on kid stuff now.
He was 8 YEARS OLD when he became king and immediately began doing right in God's sight. At 18 he found the Book of the Law and led national revival - didn't wait to be 'old enough,' his youth was his STRENGTH for radical obedience with INSTANT impact.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too young to be generous! IT IS WRITTEN to let NO ONE despise my youth but be an EXAMPLE in faith. The boy with fish was my age and Jesus used HIS offering for the miracle. Josiah was 8 when he became king and led revival - my age is an ADVANTAGE, not a disqualification. God ordains strength from the mouths of CHILDREN to silence enemies. IT IS WRITTEN that I can be an example to believers - not someday, but NOW. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing isn't age-restricted. I'm not too young - I'm exactly the right age to learn His economy and walk in it for DECADES!
The Father doesn't see you as too young - He sees you as exactly the right age to learn that He's faithful, that generosity unlocks joy, that His economy works. He's not waiting for you to grow up; He's inviting you NOW into partnership that will mark your whole life with His provision.
