How it sounds in your head: You just started following Jesus on your own. The girls in your discipleship group have been Christians their whole lives. Their prayers sound powerful and confident. Yours sound like you're reading a script. When the enemy attacks, you freeze because you don't have enough Bible knowledge or spiritual experience to fight back.

Every spiritual mentor seems decades ahead in knowledge and experience. When you try to take authority over anxiety or spiritual attack, nothing seems to happen, which feels like proof you're not qualified yet.
A teenage girl, probably 14-16 years old, zero theological training, living in obscurity in Nazareth. God chose HER to carry the Messiah, trusted HER with the most important assignment in human history, gave HER authority to say yes to what confused grown men and trained priests. Age and experience meant NOTHING to God's choice.
I REFUSE the lie that my age or experience determines my spiritual authority. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus GIVES me authority over ALL the power of the enemy - not after I've proven myself, but because I'm IN Him. I am a daughter of the Most High God, sealed with the Holy Spirit, seated with Christ in heavenly places far above all principalities and powers. The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead lives IN me right now. IT IS WRITTEN that the blessing of Abraham is mine through Christ - the same blessing that made Jacob wealthy even when he was a deceiver, the same blessing that protected Abraham even when he lied. I carry the BARAK of the Almighty, and the enemy has NO authority over me. I am clothed in Christ's righteousness, not my own resume.
Your Father isn't waiting for you to graduate from spiritual kindergarten before He releases authority to you. He gave you the family ring, the robe, and the sandals the MOMENT you came home - while you still smelled like the pig pen of your past, before you could prove anything. You're already seated with Christ above every demon, every fear, every attack.
