"I'm too weak to eat; my body is shutting down and food is pointless."
How it sounds in your head: What's the point of eating when I'm this close to dying? My body can't even process it anymore. Food feels like forcing life into a body that's already leaving.
"I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord."
-- Psalm 118:17Enemy + spirit of death speaking premature surrender, trying to hasten the end before God's appointed time.
She feels the weakness, the nausea, the body's rejection of food. Hospice conversations echo—'comfort care,' 'letting go.' Food feels futile when death feels imminent.
Hezekiah was DYING—prophet said 'set your house in order; you shall die, not live.' Hezekiah prayed, and God INSTANTLY added 15 years—before the prophet even left the building. Death sentence REVERSED in minutes.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too weak and food is pointless. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I shall not die, but LIVE, and declare the works of the Lord'—I am ALIVE right now, and God's timing determines my end, not my symptoms. Food is not futile; it's FUEL for however many days, hours, or moments God has ordained. IT IS WRITTEN: My times are in His hand (Psalm 31:15). The BARAK blessing covers me until my LAST breath—I am blessed coming in and going out. I eat, I live, I DECLARE His works even now.
The Father doesn't see a dying body giving up. He sees a daughter ALIVE this moment, worthy of nourishment, worthy of CARE—whether you have 15 years or 15 minutes left, you are PRECIOUS.
