I REFUSE the lie that joy is immaturity. IT IS WRITTEN that a merry heart does good like medicine, and my laughter is HEALING, not foolishness. I am not too silly. I am FULL OF LIFE. IT IS WRITTEN that the joy of the Lord is my strength, and my playfulness is strength the enemy fears. I declare the BARAK blessing over my joy—I am blessed in my laughter, blessed in my playfulness, blessed coming in with a smile and going out spreading life. Jesus said to become like a child, and I refuse to trade my joy for fake maturity. My playful heart reflects the Father who REJOICES over me with singing, and I will not apologize for reflecting Him.
The Father is running toward you with a party hat, not a briefcase. He's dancing over you with joy while the world demands you sit still and stop smiling.
