"I'm too old to make any real difference before the end comes"
How it sounds in your head: Even if there's time left, what can I realistically do at 67? I don't have the energy, influence, or platform I used to. Younger men should lead now. I'm past my prime. Maybe my role is just to pray quietly and not get in the way. Real impact is for the next generation.
"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."
-- Joel 2:28Enemy's ageism stealing the elder anointing and convincing the most mature generation they're obsolete instead of ESSENTIAL
Culture worships youth—tech, trends, movements all driven by 20-somethings. He feels invisible, irrelevant. His body confirms limits. Church often sidelines older men for 'fresh vision.' Feels true because culture and even church reinforces it.
Moses was 120 years old when he died, but his EYES were not dim and his NATURAL VIGOR had not diminished. He led the greatest deliverance in history from age 80-120—40 years of prime ministry in his EIGHTIES and beyond.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old for impact. IT IS WRITTEN that old men shall DREAM DREAMS—God saved the dreaming anointing for MY AGE. I am Moses at 80, just STARTING the Exodus. I am Caleb at 85, TAKING MOUNTAINS. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 92:14 that I will still bear FRUIT in old age, full of SAP and fresh. My latter years are not decline; they're CLIMAX. I carry wisdom, resources, and anointing the young need. I'm not obsolete; I'm ESSENTIAL. My greatest impact is NOW.
The Father is whispering assignments into your spirit that ONLY a man your age can carry—wisdom-laden, resource-backed, battle-tested strategies that will launch movements. He didn't preserve you this long to sit; He preserved you to LEAD the final charge.
