"I'm too old; God performs miracles for younger people with more life ahead."
How it sounds in your head: I'm ninety-three years old. My body has already exceeded expectations. The healing testimonies I hear are always about children, young mothers, people with decades of productivity ahead. Why would God waste a miracle on someone in their final season? Maybe healing was for my younger years, but now it's just about dying with dignity.
"And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions."
-- Joel 2:28Enemy + religion: Age discrimination applied to God's willingness; implying God rations miracles based on productivity or remaining lifespan.
Every healing testimony he hears in church features someone decades younger. His own body has been declining for years, and culture worships youth while warehousing the elderly. He feels invisible, irrelevant, and assumes God's priorities match society's.
At age 85, after 45 years of waiting, Caleb didn't ask for a retirement village. He said, 'Give me this mountain where the giants live—I'm as strong today as I was at 40.' God didn't put him out to pasture; He gave him the HARDEST territory and supernatural strength to conquer it.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too old for God's intervention. IT IS WRITTEN in Joel 2:28 that OLD MEN shall dream dreams—I'm in the demographic God SPECIFICALLY named for supernatural encounters. Moses began at 80, Caleb conquered giants at 85, Abraham became a father at 100. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8)—He doesn't have an age limit on miracles. I am under the BARAK blessing that never expires, never retires, never discriminates by age. My latter days will be GREATER than my former.
Father sees you the way He saw Caleb at 85—ready for your MOUNTAIN, not your grave. He didn't bring you this far to abandon you at the finish line; He's preparing a testimony that will wreck age discrimination in the kingdom forever.
