"I'm too logical and not compassionate enough - real women are naturally nurturing."
How it sounds in your head: I see problems to solve, not feelings to comfort. I'd rather fix than hug. Maybe I'm missing the 'maternal instinct' gene - like I'm broken as a woman.
"But the midwives feared God, and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive."
-- Exodus 1:17Gender stereotypes that equate femininity with emotion, making logic-driven women feel defective or unwomanly.
She watches other girls instinctively know how to comfort people while she mentally troubleshoots solutions. Culture says 'real women nurture,' making her problem-solving brain feel like a malfunction.
The midwives didn't cry about Pharaoh's baby-killing order - they STRATEGIZED, lied to protect life, and God blessed them with FAMILIES. Their logic-driven compassion saved a generation instantly.
I REFUSE the lie that logic means lack of compassion. IT IS WRITTEN that the midwives used STRATEGY to save lives, and God rewarded their tactical courage. My problem-solving mind isn't cold - it's EFFECTIVE LOVE. IT IS WRITTEN in Proverbs 31:26 that wisdom opens her mouth - not just feelings, WISDOM. I am COMPLETE in Christ (Colossians 2:10), lacking NOTHING. The BARAK blessing flows through my logic - I am BLESSED in decisions and outcomes. My solutions ARE compassion.
The Father isn't disappointed that you strategize instead of cry - He's EQUIPPED you. He made you a problem-solver on purpose, and He's running toward you with crises only YOUR mind can navigate.
