"I'm too different, too intense, too much—I'll never find people who actually get me."

How it sounds in your head: You've been told you're 'a lot'—too deep for casual conversation, too passionate about things others find mundane, too intense about faith or ideas or feelings. You've learned to dial yourself down in mixed company, but even then you can see people's eyes glaze over. Maybe you're just wired wrong for normal friendship.

Jeremiah 1:5

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you; before you were born I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations."

-- Jeremiah 1:5
Enemy whispers: You're too much for normal people and you'll never find your tribe. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Jeremiah 1:5—'Before I formed you in the womb I KNEW you; I SANCTIFIED you; I ORDAINED you.' Your intensity isn't a flaw—it's ORDINATION. God didn't make a mistake. IT IS WRITTEN in Ephesians 2:10 you are His WORKMANSHIP created for SPECIFIC works He prepared. The people who can't handle your depth aren't your people. The RIGHT people will CELEBRATE what others called 'too much.'
Quick Truth: LIE: I'm too much. TRUTH: Before birth, God KNEW, SANCTIFIED, ORDAINED you—perfect design. Jeremiah 1:5

Enemy has weaponized your unique design and past rejection to convince you your intensity disqualifies you instead of destines you.

Why this feels true:

You've had people literally tell you you're 'too much.' You've seen friends back away when you share what you're actually thinking or feeling. Small talk feels like dying inside, but when you go deep, people look uncomfortable. You've been excluded from groups because your presence 'changes the vibe.'

Matthew 3:1-17
John the Baptist

Wore camel hair, ate locusts, lived in the wilderness, preached with ZERO chill, called religious leaders 'brood of vipers,' was absolutely TOO MUCH by every social standard. Jesus said of this 'too intense' man: 'Among those born of women there has not risen one GREATER than John the Baptist.' His intensity wasn't the problem—it was his PURPOSE.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I'm too much for real connection. IT IS WRITTEN that before I was formed, God KNEW me, SANCTIFIED me, ORDAINED me—my intensity is not defect, it's DESIGN. John the Baptist was 'too much' by every standard and Jesus called him the GREATEST born of women. The BARAK blessing means I am blessed coming in and going out—including with the RIGHT people who will celebrate my depth, not shame it. IT IS WRITTEN that I am God's workmanship created for specific purposes, and the people who 'can't handle' me weren't MEANT to. The Father is RUNNING toward me with people who will say 'FINALLY, someone who gets it,' not 'tone it down.' I am not too much. I am EXACTLY the right amount for the assignment and the tribe God has prepared.

But God actually:

The Father isn't looking at you wishing you were more palatable or easier to categorize. He's celebrating the EXACT intensity He put in you and running toward you with people who will TREASURE what shallow people rejected. The prodigal came home smelling like pigs and PASSION for his father—and the father threw a party, not an intervention.
