"I'm too damaged to be loved well. I'll always be tolerated, never treasured."
How it sounds in your head: Your baggage is too heavy. Your trauma too messy. Nobody wants to deal with your triggers, your past, your complicated heart. They'll stay out of obligation, maybe, but never delight. You're damaged goods.
"The Lord your God in your midst, the Mighty One, will save; He will rejoice over you with gladness, He will quiet you with His love, He will rejoice over you with singing."

Five failed marriages, living with a man she wasn't married to, so ashamed she drew water at noon to avoid other women. Jesus INSTANTLY offered her living water, revealed Himself as Messiah TO HER FIRST, and she became the evangelist to her city.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm too damaged to be treasured. IT IS WRITTEN: He REJOICES over me with singing—I'm not tolerated, I'm CELEBRATED. My brokenness doesn't disqualify His delight. IT IS WRITTEN in Isaiah 62:4 that I'm no longer called Forsaken but HEPHZIBAH—'My Delight Is in Her.' I am BARAK blessed, pursued by a God who runs toward broken women with living water. I'm not damaged goods—I'm the BELOVED. I'm not managed—I'm CHERISHED.
The Father is running toward you with a song on His lips, declaring 'You are My DELIGHT—your past doesn't diminish My love, it displays My GRACE!' He's not tolerating you; He's TREASURING you.
