"My gifts are too small to matter. Real ministry is for people with bigger platforms."
How it sounds in your head: You have no following, no stage, no microphone. The women making a difference have thousands of followers, published books, podcasts. Your tiny sphere of influence—what difference does that make? God uses the big voices, not the invisible ones.
"For who has despised the day of small things? For these seven rejoice to see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel."
-- Zechariah 4:10Source: Religious system that measures Kingdom impact by worldly metrics (numbers, platforms, visibility) rather than faithfulness.
You see women your age with verified accounts, speaking at conferences, writing devotionals that go viral. Meanwhile your Bible study has four people and your encouragement reaches maybe a dozen. The gap between their reach and yours feels insurmountable.
He had five small barley loaves and two fish—literally a kid's lunch, laughably insufficient for the need. He gave it to Jesus anyway, and it fed 5,000 MEN plus women and children with twelve baskets LEFT OVER. His tiny offering in Jesus' hands became INSTANT, MIRACULOUS, ABUNDANT provision for thousands.
I REFUSE the lie that my gifts are too small to matter. IT IS WRITTEN that God does not despise the day of small things—He REJOICES over faithfulness. My small offering in Jesus' hands becomes MIRACULOUS multiplication. I don't need a platform; I need CONNECTION to the Vine. IT IS WRITTEN that apart from Him I can do nothing, but IN Him I bear MUCH fruit. The blessing of Abraham makes me fruitful wherever I'm planted. I am blessed in the city and in the field—my impact isn't measured by numbers but by ANOINTING.
The Father isn't waiting for you to build a platform—He's already taking your five loaves and two fish and multiplying them beyond what you can see. He measures your gift not by its size but by whose hands hold it, and you're already in HIS hands.
