Not Enough
"I'm not financially capable—I'll always struggle with money like my family does."

How it sounds in your head: My family has always been broke. I don't know how to manage money, invest, or build wealth. Rich people have something I don't—connections, education, a head start. I'll probably end up working paycheck to paycheck like everyone I know. Poverty is just my lot in life.

Deuteronomy 8:18

"And you shall remember the LORD your God, for it is He who gives you power to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant which He swore to your fathers, as it is this day."

-- Deuteronomy 8:18
Enemy whispers: 'You'll always be broke.' BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Deuteronomy 8:18 - 'It is HE who gives you POWER to get wealth, that He may establish His covenant.' Wealth-building power is a GIFT from God, not a product of family background or financial education. Galatians 3:13-14 says Christ REDEEMED you from the curse so the BLESSING OF ABRAHAM might come upon you. You are Abraham's seed, HEIR according to promise (Gal 3:29). The BARAK protected Abraham even when he LIED twice and left wealthier both times—your blessing isn't based on financial literacy but on COVENANT. 2 Corinthians 8:9 says Christ became poor so that YOU might become rich.
Quick Truth: LIE: I'll always struggle financially. TRUTH: GOD gives power to get wealth (Deut 8:18). You're Abraham's heir—BARAK blessed (Gal 3:29).

Generational poverty mindset passed down through family systems; enemy using poverty as identity rather than temporary circumstance.

Why this feels true:

He's never seen wealth modeled in his family. Every adult he knows stresses about money. He has no financial education and assumes wealth is for 'other people.' The cycle feels unbreakable because it's all he's known.

1 Kings 17:8-16
The Widow of Zarephath

She was down to her LAST MEAL—one handful of flour, about to feed her son and then die of starvation. Elijah said give FIRST to God, and INSTANTLY her jar of flour and oil didn't run out for years—from one day of food to YEARS of supply in one act of faith.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I'm destined for poverty because of my family background. IT IS WRITTEN that it is GOD who gives me POWER to get wealth to establish His covenant. Christ redeemed me from the curse of poverty so the BLESSING OF ABRAHAM could come upon me. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed and HEIR according to the promise—the BARAK that protected liars, deceivers, and failures now rests on me through Jesus' blood. The widow went from her last meal to YEARS of provision in one moment. I am blessed in my storehouses, blessed in the city and in the field. I will LEND to many and borrow from none. I am the HEAD and not the TAIL, above ONLY and not beneath.

But God actually:

The Father isn't waiting for you to take a financial literacy course—He's ready to command blessing on your storehouses RIGHT NOW like He did for the widow with one meal left. The prodigal left with his inheritance and came back broke, and the Father STILL threw him a party and restored his wealth. Your financial future is in HIS hands, not your history's.
