"I don't have what it takes to be liked or included."
How it sounds in your head: Groups form and I'm outside them. Invitations go to others. Lunch tables fill up before I get there. Maybe there's something wrong with me that everyone can see but I can't fix. I'll probably always be on the outside.
"To the praise of the glory of His grace, by which He made us accepted in the Beloved."
-- Ephesians 1:6Enemy assault on her sense of belonging, using social exclusion to eclipse her acceptance in Christ and position in the body.
Social hierarchies are forming and exclusion is real and painful. She's experiencing actual rejection—not invited, not included, not chosen. The evidence feels concrete and personal.
Zacchaeus was hated, excluded, called a traitor and thief. Nobody would eat with him. Jesus CHOSE him out of the crowd, invited Himself to dinner, and called him 'son of Abraham.' Instant inclusion. The outsider became the host of the Messiah.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm unlikable or excludable. IT IS WRITTEN that God made me ACCEPTED in the Beloved—my inclusion is settled in heaven. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus CHOSE me, appointed me, loves me. Lunch table rejection can't touch heaven's invitation. I am blessed in the city, favored wherever I go, carrying the BARAK blessing that opens doors no human can shut. Zacchaeus was the town outcast and Jesus chose HIM. I am chosen, included, beloved. I belong to the King.
The Father isn't waiting for you to become likable. He's running toward you, choosing you out of the crowd, inviting Himself into your life. Zacchaeus was hated and Jesus picked him. Your acceptance is settled in the Beloved, regardless of who picks you for their table.
