"I'm just average with nothing special about me."
How it sounds in your head: I look around and everyone has their thing—some talent, some edge, some uniqueness. Me? I'm just... regular. Forgettable. Replaceable. The guy who blends into the background.
"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light."
-- 1 Peter 2:9Religious spirit trying to reduce you to your natural abilities while blinding you to your supernatural identity.
You're comparing your internal ordinariness to everyone's external highlight reel. You can't see what God put in you because you're measuring by worldly metrics instead of Kingdom identity.
Just a fig farmer and sheep herder, no training or credentials, told a king he had no business prophesying. God said, 'I took you from following the flock and said GO'—became one of the major prophets with a book in Scripture.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm average or forgettable. IT IS WRITTEN that I am a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, His own special people. I don't blend in—I stand out because I carry a King. My uniqueness isn't found in talent but in the One who lives in me. IT IS WRITTEN that I am the head and not the tail, above only and not beneath. God doesn't do average; He does MASTERPIECE. I am one of a kind, custom-built for assignments only I can fulfill.
The Father doesn't see average when He looks at you—He sees ROYALTY. You're not trying to become special; you're discovering you already ARE because you're His.
