"I've wasted my potential and missed my chance."
How it sounds in your head: Other guys my age are already established—married, promoted, successful. I took wrong turns, wasted years, made bad choices. I had potential once, but I blew it. Too late now.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust."
-- Joel 2:25Enemy using past mistakes to steal future destiny, convincing you the game is over when God says it's just beginning.
You're comparing your chapter 6 to someone else's chapter 20 and measuring potential by worldly timelines instead of Kingdom timing where God redeems ALL the years.
Spent 40 years in the wilderness after murdering a man and running away—total failure and waste. God called him at 80 years old, and he led the greatest deliverance in history for the next 40 years.
I REFUSE the lie that I've wasted my potential. IT IS WRITTEN that God will restore the years the locust has eaten—nothing is lost in His hands. My past doesn't disqualify me; the blood of Jesus REDEEMS it. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out, and God is commanding blessing on everything I set my hand to RIGHT NOW. What looks like delay is actually SETUP. God is about to accelerate me into destiny that makes up for every lost year in one season of overflow.
The Father doesn't see wasted years—He sees SETUP years. He's been preparing you in the wilderness for a deliverance so big it requires someone who's been broken, humbled, and rebuilt by grace alone.
