Invisible
"I'm invisible now—no one sees me anymore, I've disappeared from the world."

How it sounds in your head: I sit in this room and wonder if anyone would notice if I was gone. The nurses barely look at me. My family has moved on with their lives. I'm just waiting to die, unseen and forgotten.

Psalm 139:1-3

"O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off. You comprehend my path and my lying down, and are acquainted with all my ways."

-- Psalm 139:1-3
Enemy whispers: You're invisible, forgotten in this room. BUT IT IS WRITTEN: Psalm 139:1-3—'O Lord, You have searched me and known me. You know my sitting down and my rising up; You understand my thought afar off.' The Creator of galaxies SEARCHES you, KNOWS every breath, every thought. You are the MOST visible person in the universe to the One who matters most.
Quick Truth: LIE: I'm invisible. TRUTH: 'You have searched me and known me'—Psalm 139:1. The God of the universe SEES you completely.

Enemy whisper exploiting physical limitations and age discrimination to erase identity.

Why this feels true:

Physical isolation, fewer visitors, staff treating her like a task instead of a person. Her mirror shows someone even she doesn't recognize anymore.

Genesis 16:13
Hagar

Hagar was a pregnant slave woman fleeing abuse, invisible to society, dying in the desert. God found her instantly and she named Him 'El Roi'—the God Who Sees Me—because even the invisible are VISIBLE to Him.

Speak this out loud

I REFUSE the lie that I am invisible or forgotten. IT IS WRITTEN that the Lord has searched me and known me—He knows my sitting and my rising, every thought I think. I am the MOST VISIBLE person to the God of the universe. IT IS WRITTEN that even the hairs on my head are numbered. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to promise, and the BARAK blessing rests on me—the God who saw Hagar in the desert SEES ME in this room. I am KNOWN, SEEN, and TREASURED by the King of Heaven.

But God actually:

The Father hasn't looked away for one second—He's been counting every breath, treasuring every moment, closer than your next heartbeat. You are not invisible; you are BEHELD with absolute delight by the One who spoke stars into existence and chose to know YOUR name.
