"Your kids are absorbed in their screens and friends. You're just the guy who pays for stuff. You're invisible to them."
How it sounds in your head: You try to connect, but they're on their phones or heading out with friends. You provide everything they need, but they barely acknowledge you exist. You wonder if you matter to them at all beyond your wallet.
"And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the hearts of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse."
-- Malachi 4:6Enemy: Using teenage independence and cultural screen addiction to convince you that you're irrelevant to your own children.
They don't ask for your advice or share their lives. Conversations are one-word answers. You feel like an ATM with a heartbeat—necessary for funding, invisible as a father.
The son was GONE—wasted everything, wanted nothing to do with his father. Then one day, the father SAW him coming from far off and RAN to him. The son's heart turned in ONE MOMENT—from pig pen to party.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm invisible to my kids. IT IS WRITTEN: 'He will turn the hearts of the children to their fathers.' Not IF. Not MAYBE. He WILL. The Spirit of Elijah is moving in my house RIGHT NOW. My kids' hearts are turning—not because I'm a perfect dad, but because God PROMISED it. I am Abraham's seed—the BARAK is on my household. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household' (Acts 16:31). My household is COVERED. My kids WILL see me.
The Father is already working in your kids' hearts while they scroll. He's not waiting for you to be perfect. He's turning their hearts back because He PROMISED—and His promises don't depend on your performance.
