"I'm facing eternity having accomplished nothing because my business failed."
How it sounds in your head: I'm about to meet God, and what do I have to show for my life? A failed business. Empty hands. Nothing of value to present.
"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast."
-- Ephesians 2:8-9Performance-based acceptance: believing heaven's entrance requires earthly achievement instead of Christ's blood.
Proximity to death creates urgency to evaluate life meaning. Her generation measures worth by tangible accomplishment, and business failure feels like showing up empty-handed to judgment.
He was a criminal being executed, had zero good works, no ministry, no legacy—just faith in his final breaths. Jesus said 'Today you will be with Me in Paradise'—instant acceptance with nothing to show.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm meeting God empty-handed. IT IS WRITTEN: By grace I am saved through faith, NOT by works or accomplishments. The thief on the cross brought NOTHING but faith and got paradise. I bring the righteousness of CHRIST—His blood, His finished work, His perfection. IT IS WRITTEN: I am the righteousness of God IN HIM. My business doesn't define my eternity. My SAVIOR does. I enter heaven as a DAUGHTER—robed, beloved, presented faultless before the throne. I accomplished THE mission: I believed.
The Father isn't waiting at heaven's gate reviewing your résumé. He's waiting with open arms for His DAUGHTER—your entrance was secured by JESUS, and business never factored into the equation.
