"I'm a financial burden draining my family—we're poor because of me."
How it sounds in your head: Every bill, every 'we can't afford that,' every stressed conversation about money feels like it's YOUR fault. You see other families with more and know you're the expensive variable. Your needs are the reason they're struggling.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Enemy twisting normal family expenses into personal condemnation, making provision a guilt trip instead of covenant promise.
You hear comments about how much kids cost, see the credit card bills for your school stuff, or know your parents work extra jobs 'because of you.' The math is clear—you're expensive, and the money isn't there.
A widow down to her LAST MEAL—one handful of flour, about to eat and die with her son. Elijah shows up (another mouth to feed) and asks for food FIRST. She obeys, and the flour and oil NEVER RAN OUT through the entire famine—the 'burden' became the BREAKTHROUGH.
I REFUSE the lie that I'm a financial burden. IT IS WRITTEN that God supplies ALL my need according to HIS RICHES in glory, not my family's limitations. My existence doesn't drain provision—it ACTIVATES Heaven's supply. The BARAK blessing that commanded provision on Abraham's storehouses is MINE by covenant through Christ. IT IS WRITTEN in Deuteronomy 28:8 that the Lord COMMANDS the blessing on my storehouses and all I set my hand to. I am not a drain—I am a DOOR through which Heaven's abundance flows to my family.
The Father doesn't see you as an expense He regrets—He sees you as an INVESTMENT He celebrates. He's not counting the cost of raising you; He's already prepared ABUNDANCE that makes those expenses look like SEEDS that produced a harvest, and He's running toward you with FULL POCKETS.
