"I'm a burden to my family. I should be supporting myself instead of needing help."
How it sounds in your head: I see the strain when they help with my bills. They have their own families to support. A good mother wouldn't be taking from her children at this age. I feel like a failure who can't take care of herself anymore.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

She sees her adult children's finances stretched thin helping her. The cultural message is that successful people are self-sufficient. Needing help feels like proof she failed at life.
God sent Elijah to a starving widow who had only enough for one last meal. He asked her to feed HIM first—she was the channel of his provision, but God was the source. Her oil and flour never ran out, sustaining all three of them supernaturally.
I REFUSE the lie that needing help makes me a burden. IT IS WRITTEN that MY GOD supplies all my need according to HIS riches—He is my source, not my family. I am Abraham's seed; the BARAK blessing is on me, and blessing FLOWS THROUGH me even when I'm receiving. IT IS WRITTEN that I am blessed coming in and going out—receiving is just another form of the blessing cycle. Like the widow who fed Elijah from her last meal and never ran out, provision multiplies in the Kingdom, not diminishes. I receive with THANKSGIVING, not shame. God commands blessing on my storehouses by COVENANT.
The Father isn't disappointed that you need help—He's delighted to provide through multiple channels. You're not a burden; you're a beloved daughter whose needs give Him opportunity to show His faithfulness through community.
