"God isn't providing because I must have done something wrong financially in the past."
How it sounds in your head: If I had tithed more consistently, saved better, been more generous, God would be taking care of me now. This struggle is consequences for my financial disobedience.
"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ."
-- Ephesians 1:3Religious performance lie teaching God withholds based on behavior.
She remembers seasons of poor stewardship, times she didn't tithe, purchases she regrets. Current lack feels like divine punishment.
After wasting his ENTIRE inheritance on prostitutes and reckless living, the son came home expecting servanthood. Instead, the father gave him ring, robe, sandals, and threw a feast—INSTANT full restoration with zero payment plan or probation period.
I REFUSE the lie that God withholds provision because of past financial mistakes. IT IS WRITTEN that God HAS BLESSED me with every spiritual blessing in Christ—past tense, finished work. I am not under the curse of the law; Christ REDEEMED me from it. The BARAK blessing covered Abraham's lies and Jacob's deceptions; how much more does Jesus' blood cover my imperfect stewardship? IT IS WRITTEN there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus. The Father is RUNNING toward me with provision, not waiting for me to pay penance. My provision flows from GRACE.
The Father isn't holding your financial past against you—He's holding the CROSS in front of you, where every debt was canceled. Like the servant who owed ten thousand talents (billions) and had it ALL forgiven instantly, your financial slate is CLEAN and provision flows from His nature, not your history.
