"I'll never be able to play sports or be active like normal kids; pain limits my future."
How it sounds in your head: You watch other guys run, jump, play without thinking about it—and you can't. The pain will keep you on the sidelines forever. Your future is limited: no varsity, no pickup games, no adventures. Pain is stealing the life you wanted before you even got to live it.
"So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten, the crawling locust, the consuming locust, and the chewing locust, My great army which I sent among you."

He sees what he can't do right now and extrapolates it into forever. When pain stops him today, it's easy to believe it'll stop him tomorrow, next year, always.
Crippled in both feet from age five, lived in hiding believing his future was poverty and obscurity—permanently sidelined from normal life. David brought him to the palace, restored ALL his grandfather's land, gave him a seat at the king's table FOREVER—from crippled outcast to royalty at the table, total life reversal.
I REFUSE the lie that pain limits my future. IT IS WRITTEN that God will restore the years the locust has eaten—what pain stole, God recovers with INCREASE. I am not sidelined; I'm being positioned for a comeback story that glorifies Jesus. My future is not written by my current pain—it's written by the blood of the Lamb and the BARAK blessing of Abraham. IT IS WRITTEN in Philippians 4:13 that I can do ALL things through Christ who strengthens me—not some things, not limited things, ALL things. The same Spirit that raised Christ gives LIFE to my mortal body, and that life is ABUNDANT. I'm not hoping for normal; I'm believing for supernatural strength, speed, endurance beyond what pain tried to steal. I declare: my future is FULL, not limited; restored, not reduced!
The Father isn't accepting pain's theft of your future—He's planning a restoration so complete you'll forget what was lost. The prodigal didn't get a limited future after the pig pen; he got FULL sonship, FULL inheritance, FULL celebration.
