"I've tried everything and nothing works, so healing must not be God's will for me."
How it sounds in your head: I've prayed, been to healing services, had people lay hands on me, tried all the remedies. Nothing has worked. Maybe some people get healed and some don't, and I'm just in the 'don't' category. Maybe it's not God's will for me specifically.
"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning."
-- James 1:17Religious lie that God's will is selective and mysterious, making His promises conditional instead of covenant guaranteed.
Multiple attempts at healing through different methods have all failed so far. Theological teaching about 'God's mysterious will' provides religious cover for continued pain.
Ten men with leprosy, all hopeless, all outcasts, all medically terminal. Jesus said 'Go show yourselves to the priests' and as they went ALL TEN were cleansed - not nine, not the most faithful, ALL - God's will included every single one.
I REFUSE the lie that healing isn't God's will for me. IT IS WRITTEN: 'Every good gift comes from the Father with whom there is no variation' - He doesn't heal some and skip others, He's not variable. All ten lepers were cleansed, God's will included EVERY ONE. IT IS WRITTEN: 'I am the LORD who heals you' - that's His will declared in His NAME. I am in Christ, therefore Abraham's seed, heir according to PROMISE not performance. The BARAK blessing is on me, healing is covenant guaranteed. I receive complete healing NOW.
The Father isn't playing favorites, healing some kids and making others suffer to build character. Every good gift comes from Him without variation - healing is yours because you're His, period, no exclusions, no exceptions.
