"If I had more faith, I would be healed by now. My weak faith is the problem."
How it sounds in your head: Others get healed—what's wrong with you? You must not believe hard enough. If you had REAL faith, this would be gone. You're failing at faith, and that's why you're still suffering.
"For what if some did not believe? Will their unbelief make the faithfulness of God without effect? Certainly not! Indeed, let God be true but every man a liar."
-- Romans 3:3-4Religion's cruel lie that makes healing about YOUR faith performance instead of HIS finished work, turning a gift into a test you're failing.
You've heard the teachings: 'According to your faith' and 'If you have faith as a mustard seed.' You've watched others testify of healing and wondered what they have that you don't. The pain persists, so you assume your faith is insufficient.
Dead four days. Lazarus had ZERO faith—he was DEAD. Didn't believe hard enough, didn't confess right, didn't do anything. Jesus spoke one word: 'Lazarus, come forth!' and he who had been dead came out. The breakthrough wasn't based on Lazarus' faith—it was based on JESUS' authority.
I REFUSE the lie that my healing depends on perfect faith. IT IS WRITTEN that God's faithfulness is not nullified by my unbelief. I am not saved by my faith performance—I'm saved by GRACE through faith, and even that faith is a GIFT. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus healed ALL who came, not all who had perfect faith. I rest in HIS faithfulness, not my faith strength. I am Abraham's seed, and the BARAK blessing doesn't grade my belief—it flows from COVENANT. I receive healing NOW because HE is faithful, not because I am.
Your Father isn't standing over you with a faith-o-meter, shaking His head in disappointment. He sees you as His beloved son, and He's running toward you with healing—not because your faith is strong enough, but because His love is relentless and His promises are YES and AMEN.
