"I'll be working until I die because I can't afford to stop."
How it sounds in your head: Retirement isn't rest—it's scrambling for part-time work to survive. Grocery bagger at 75. Walmart greeter at 80. No golden years, just grinding until you drop. This is what your life's work amounted to: dying in harness.
"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."
-- Matthew 11:28Enemy prophesying poverty and lack to override covenant promises of provision and rest.
The budget REQUIRES income. Savings won't last. Social Security isn't enough. The math forces continued work, making the prophecy feel inevitable.
40 years, no jobs, no income, no economy—yet fed daily with manna, clothes never wore out, shoes never needed replacing. Supernatural provision without employment for an entire generation until their assignment was complete.
I REFUSE the lie that I'll work until I die because of lack. IT IS WRITTEN that Jesus gives me REST—not endless labor, not grinding until death, but REST. I am Abraham's seed, blessed with the BARAK that commanded provision without labor. IT IS WRITTEN my God supplies ALL my need according to HIS riches in glory. I am not destined for poverty—I am positioned for PROVISION. The LORD is my Shepherd; I shall NOT want. I enter into REST, and supernatural provision meets me there.
The Father isn't watching you work yourself to death—He's preparing a TABLE before you in the presence of every financial enemy. REST isn't for the wealthy; it's for the BELOVED. And you are His.
