"I'll be single forever—God has a different plan and I need to accept it."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe this is just my lot. Maybe marriage isn't for everyone and I need to make peace with being alone. Maybe God's plan is for me to be single and I'm fighting against His will by even wanting this.

I REFUSE the lie that resignation to defeat is God's will or that my desire for marriage is contrary to His plan. IT IS WRITTEN in Romans 8:28 that ALL things work together for GOOD for those who love God—not disappointment, not defeat, but GOOD.
