"If I was more attractive and confident, I wouldn't be single."
How it sounds in your head: You see the guys who get attention—tall, built, smooth talkers. You look in the mirror and see everything you're not. You think if you just got ripped, learned game, became someone else, then maybe you'd have a shot.
"For the LORD does not see as man sees; for man looks at the outward appearance, but the LORD looks at the heart."
-- 1 Samuel 16:7World's lie that attraction is about physical presentation rather than supernatural assignment.
Every movie, every influencer, every couple you see seems to validate that looks and confidence win. You've been overlooked and it feels directly tied to how you look and act.
Leah had 'weak eyes'—the Bible literally says she wasn't as attractive as Rachel. Yet when the LORD saw she was unloved, He opened her womb and she became the mother of JUDAH—the Messianic tribe. God gave the 'unattractive' one the greater destiny.
I REFUSE the lie that my appearance determines my assignment. IT IS WRITTEN that God doesn't see as man sees—He looks at the heart, not the abs or jawline. What He's prepared for me doesn't require me to transform into someone else. The BARAK blessing was on Jacob who was a mama's boy, on Leah who wasn't the pretty one, on David who was the forgotten little brother. IT IS WRITTEN in Psalm 139 that I am fearfully and wonderfully made—not after I get ripped, but RIGHT NOW. My attractiveness is defined by Father's declaration, not the world's standard. I am not waiting to become hot enough—I am already chosen.
Father designed you exactly as you are and He's running toward you with total delight in who you are, not who you think you should become. His assignment for you requires YOUR face, YOUR build, YOUR personality.
