"If I've lived with pain this long, it must be God's plan for my life."
How it sounds in your head: 90+ years and this is where I am. Maybe God ordained this pain for a reason I can't see. Who am I to question His sovereignty? Acceptance might be more spiritual than asking for healing.
"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers."
-- 3 John 1:2Religious fatalism twisting God's sovereignty into divine authorship of suffering, making surrender to pain seem like faith.
Lifetime duration creates illusion of divine intention—'if God wanted it different, it would be different by now.' Sovereignty teaching used to justify unanswered prayer as 'mysterious plan.'
Job suffered for a season, but God's FINAL WORD was complete restoration—double everything he lost, health fully recovered, 140 more years of blessed life. Duration of suffering doesn't make it God's 'plan'—restoration was always His intention.
I REFUSE the lie that longevity of pain proves divine intention. IT IS WRITTEN that God's will is for me to prosper in ALL things and be in HEALTH—not just soul prosperity, PHYSICAL health. Jesus came to DESTROY the devil's works, and pain is the devil's work. I am under the BARAK blessing where I am blessed coming in and going out, in the city and in the field. IT IS WRITTEN that by His stripes I WAS healed—past tense, finished at Calvary. God's plan is LIFE abundant, not pain accepted. I receive His plan NOW.
The Father's plan isn't pain—it's the same plan He had for Job: RESTORATION, double blessing, complete healing, extended life in HEALTH. He's not asking you to 'accept' suffering; He's offering you the finished work of Calvary where Jesus already bore your pain.
