"If I was really healed, I would feel it by now; nothing's changing"
How it sounds in your head: I've been declaring healing for weeks but I still feel sick. The symptoms are the same. Maybe I'm just fooling myself with positive thinking. Real healing would be immediate and obvious, and I'd FEEL different. This must not be working.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight."
-- 2 Corinthians 5:7Enemy demanding feeling-based evidence to override faith in finished work at the cross
Her body still hurts, test results haven't changed, and she FEELS the same as diagnosis day. Feelings are her immediate reality while healing seems theoretical. Waiting feels like proof it's not working.
Son dying, nobleman begged Jesus to come heal him. Jesus said, 'Go your way; your son LIVES' - present tense, done. Nobleman BELIEVED the WORD and went home without seeing change. The NEXT DAY discovered his son recovered at the exact HOUR Jesus spoke - instant healing that took a day to be evident. Faith bridged the gap.
I REFUSE the lie that absence of feeling means absence of healing. IT IS WRITTEN that I walk by faith, not by sight or feeling. By His stripes I WAS healed - past tense, FINISHED work, whether my body has caught up with the Spirit yet or not. IT IS WRITTEN that Abraham believed God and it was counted as righteousness BEFORE manifestation - I believe I AM healed before I FEEL healed. Feeling follows faith; it doesn't validate faith. The BARAK blessing operated in Abraham's life BEFORE he saw Isaac - covenant promise precedes physical evidence. I am a branch in the Vine, and resurrection LIFE is flowing through me right NOW, manifesting in God's perfect timing. I call my body into alignment with what's already true in the Spirit.
The Father isn't waiting for you to 'feel healed' before declaring you whole. He's running toward you with the robe of righteousness that declares 'HEALED' over you BEFORE symptoms change, celebrating the finished work of the cross. While you were checking symptoms in the mirror, He was celebrating that your healing was finished 2,000 years ago - now it's just catching up to your body.
