"If I was really faithful, really praying right, I'd be healed by now—it's my fault."
How it sounds in your head: You've prayed. Others have prayed. Nothing changed yet. So maybe you're doing it wrong. Maybe your faith isn't strong enough. Maybe there's some sin you haven't confessed. Good Christians get healed—so what's wrong with YOU?
"And His disciples asked Him, saying, 'Rabbi, who sinned, this man or his parents, that he was born blind?' Jesus answered, 'Neither this man nor his parents sinned, but that the works of God should be revealed in him.'"
-- John 9:2-3Religious spirit adding condemnation to suffering, making healing dependent on YOUR performance instead of HIS finished work.
Healing testimonies always sound like the person did something right—prayed harder, believed more, confessed better. If it worked for them and not you, YOU must be the variable.
This guy had ZERO time to pray right, confess all his sins, go through deliverance, read his Bible, or prove his faith. He was DYING, nailed to a cross for his crimes. He said one sentence to Jesus and got INSTANT salvation, IMMEDIATE paradise—no process, no performance, just grace.
I REFUSE the lie that my healing depends on MY faith performance. IT IS WRITTEN that there is NO CONDEMNATION for those in Christ Jesus—NONE. Jesus said sickness reveals GOD'S WORKS, not my sin. My healing was purchased at the cross—IT IS FINISHED. I don't generate healing through perfect prayers—I RECEIVE healing through His perfect sacrifice. The blessing of Abraham is mine by COVENANT, not conduct. If the thief on the cross qualified for paradise with one sentence, I qualify for healing by the SAME GRACE.
The Father isn't waiting for you to pray correctly or believe harder—He's waiting for you to REST in what Jesus already finished. Your faith doesn't move Him; His NATURE does. He's not disappointed in you; He's RUNNING toward you with healing.
