"If I rest, I'm letting God down and people will suffer without me."
How it sounds in your head: You think: 'God chose me for this. If I stop, who will do it? Kids at youth group need me. The worship team falls apart without me. I can't be selfish and rest when there's so much work to do.' You're eleven and already carrying adult weight.
"And He said, 'My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.'"

You see real needs and genuinely care, so stepping back feels like abandoning people. The praise you get when you serve feels like the only time you matter, so stopping feels like disappearing.
Elijah just defeated 450 prophets of Baal in epic victory, then ran exhausted and suicidal, praying to die. God's response? Not a lecture — He let Elijah SLEEP, sent an angel with food TWICE, and gave him 40 days of strength from TWO MEALS and rest.
I REFUSE the lie that God's work depends on my exhaustion. IT IS WRITTEN that His presence gives me rest, not more labor. I am not the Savior — Jesus already finished that work. I am a BRANCH connected to the Vine, and fruit comes from ABIDING, not striving. IT IS WRITTEN that He gives His beloved sleep. The BARAK blessing of Abraham is mine — blessed coming in and going out — and that includes coming in to REST. I declare I am the Father's BELOVED DAUGHTER, not His employee, and He delights in my rest as much as my service.
Father is running toward you with a pillow, not a to-do list. He's saying, 'Beloved, I gave Elijah sleep and meals after his greatest victory — how much more will I refresh you? Come sit with Me. The ministry is MINE, and I'll sustain it while you rest in My arms.'
