"If I prosper, people will think I'm greedy or worldly."
How it sounds in your head: You know how people judge prosperity, especially in church. They'll whisper about your priorities, question your spirituality, accuse you of loving money. Better to stay small than face that judgment.
"The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD shall be safe."
-- Proverbs 29:25Source: Religious poverty gospel, fear of man, Pharisee spirit that measures spirituality by visible lack.
You've seen how church culture treats prosperous people—with suspicion, judgment, accusations. The fear of losing respect or being misunderstood feels more real than God's promise.
God raised Joseph from prisoner to second-in-command of Egypt—signet ring, gold chains, fine linen, royal chariot. VISIBLE, undeniable prosperity that everyone saw. No apology. No hiding.
I REFUSE the lie that others' opinions determine my prosperity. IT IS WRITTEN that the fear of man is a snare, but trusting the LORD brings safety. The BARAK blessing doesn't shrink to fit religious expectations. IT IS WRITTEN that if I still pleased men, I wouldn't be Christ's servant. Abraham, Joseph, Solomon, Job—all had VISIBLE wealth that people noticed. I am not called to poverty to protect the insecure. I am called to PROSPER as a testimony of God's goodness. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and I walk in the blessing WITHOUT APOLOGY. Let the religious judge. My Father is pleased.
The Father isn't asking you to hide His blessing to make religious people comfortable. He wants to DISPLAY His goodness in your life so obviously that people can't deny it. He's running toward you with the best robe—not to hide you, but to SHOWCASE you as His beloved son.
