"If I had more faith or prayed harder, my family's money problems would be solved."
How it sounds in your head: Maybe it's your fault. Maybe if you prayed more, believed harder, had stronger faith, God would fix this. Other families seem fine—what's different about them? Maybe their faith is better.
"So Jesus said to them, 'Because of your unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Move from here to there, and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.'"
-- Matthew 17:20Religious performance teaching making provision dependent on quality of faith instead of finished work of Jesus.
You've heard testimonies of people who prayed and got miracles. If prayer works for them, and it's not working for your family, something must be wrong with YOUR faith.
The centurion said ONE SENTENCE—'Just say the word and my servant will be healed'—and Jesus said 'I have not found such great faith, not even in Israel!' One statement. INSTANT healing that same hour. Not hours of prayer, not fasting, not perfect faith—simple trust.
I REFUSE the lie that lack of provision means lack of faith. IT IS WRITTEN that faith the size of a MUSTARD SEED moves mountains—my faith doesn't have to be giant, my GOD is giant. The centurion spoke ONE sentence and got instant healing. IT IS WRITTEN that I am Abraham's seed and the BARAK blessing is COVENANT, not earned by performance. Christ ALREADY redeemed me from the curse of poverty. My provision doesn't depend on my prayer quality—it depends on HIS FINISHED WORK. I REST in His faithfulness, and breakthrough comes because of WHO HE IS, not how hard I try.
The Father isn't waiting for you to muster up more faith—He's already providing because that's HIS nature. Like the father who ran to the prodigal before the son even finished his speech, your Father responds to the SMALLEST movement toward Him with FULL provision, not partial.
