"God isn't providing; if He cared, I wouldn't have lost my job."
How it sounds in your head: Where was God when the layoffs happened? If He's so good, why didn't He protect your position? Maybe you're not important enough for Him to care about. He provides for others but not you.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Religion—teaching that loss means God's absence or disapproval.
You prayed against the layoff and it happened anyway. Bills are piling up while you watch God seemingly answer other people's prayers but not yours.
God told Elijah to hide by a brook during famine—seemingly terrible career advice. But ravens brought him bread and meat every morning and evening, supernatural provision that bypassed every economic system.
I REFUSE the lie that job loss means God abandoned me. IT IS WRITTEN that my God SHALL supply all my need according to HIS riches, not according to my employment status. Losing a job doesn't cancel the BARAK blessing on my life. IT IS WRITTEN in Galatians 3:13 that Christ redeemed me from the curse so the blessing of Abraham would come upon me. God fed Elijah by ravens during famine—He has provision streams I haven't even imagined. He is faithful.
The Father didn't allow the job loss—He's using it as a setup for something better. While you see an ending, He sees a launching pad. He's been preparing provision before you even knew you'd need it.
