"God is punishing me for past work mistakes—that's why I can't find a job."
How it sounds in your head: You cut corners, you weren't always honest, you hurt people climbing the ladder. Now you're paying for it. God has to teach you a lesson before He'll bless you again.
"And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross."

You remember specific failures and betrayals, and the timing of your job loss feels like cosmic payback. Every rejection feels like evidence God is withholding until you've suffered enough.
A TAX COLLECTOR who cheated people for years, literally stealing through corruption. Jesus didn't make him repay first, prove himself, or enter a restoration process. He said 'Come down NOW' and THAT DAY salvation came—immediate, complete, no waiting period.
I REFUSE the lie that God is punishing me or withholding provision because of past mistakes. IT IS WRITTEN that He has forgiven ALL trespasses and nailed every accusation to the cross. There is NOW no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. The BARAK protected Abraham when he LIED, Jacob when he DECEIVED, Judah when he sinned with his daughter-in-law—and they were under the LESSER covenant. IT IS WRITTEN that I am under the BETTER covenant, sealed in Christ's blood. My provision isn't on hold waiting for penance. Like Zacchaeus who met Jesus and received INSTANT salvation with no probation period, I receive INSTANT favor NOW.
The Father isn't punishing you—He's running toward you like the prodigal's father, ready to restore while you still smell like your past. Every accusation was nailed to the cross. He's not waiting for you to pay; He's already PAID.
