"If I don't take control now, I'll end up with nothing. I can't afford to wait on God."
How it sounds in your head: Your future is on the line. College. Career. Money. If you don't hustle and make moves now, you'll be left behind working dead-end jobs. Trusting God is a luxury you can't afford.
"And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
-- Philippians 4:19Poverty mindset and scarcity programming teaching that provision is limited and dependent on human effort alone.
You see adults working jobs they hate because they didn't 'make it happen' when they were young. The pressure to perform and secure your future feels like survival, not faith.
Slaves for 400 years, owned literally nothing, no savings or assets. In ONE NIGHT Exodus 12:36 says they plundered Egypt—left with gold, silver, and garments—went from absolute poverty to wealth in hours without working for it.
I REFUSE the lie that my provision depends on my control or that I'll end up with nothing if I trust God. IT IS WRITTEN that my God shall supply ALL my need according to HIS RICHES in glory. I am Abraham's seed—the BARAK blessing is mine by covenant, not effort. IT IS WRITTEN that Israel went from 400 years of slavery to plundering Egypt in ONE NIGHT. I declare: My supply is supernatural, my provision is covenant-guaranteed, and my future is secure in HIS hands, not mine.
The Father isn't setting you up for lack by asking you to trust Him—He's positioning you to receive what you could never hustle into existence. Like the Israelites who left Egypt with wealth they didn't earn, your greatest provision will come from His hand, not your striving.
