She's been taught that doubting or questioning your calling is dangerous. Admitting she wants out feels like betrayal, and she fears God will respond with anger or distance.
Jonah told God he was SO ANGRY he wanted to DIE and that he KNEW this mission would turn out this way. God didn't rebuke him—He asked a gentle question and continued the conversation.
I REFUSE the lie that my honesty will drive God away. IT IS WRITTEN that I can pour out my complaint before Him—my raw emotions don't offend Him; they invite His presence. I am not called to perform gratitude but to abide in the Vine with brutal honesty. IT IS WRITTEN that nothing can separate me from His love—not doubt, not exhaustion, not the desire to quit. The blessing of Abraham protects me even when I'm struggling; COVENANT holds when my emotions don't. I bring my whole heart to the Father without fear.
The Father is saying, 'FINALLY—the real you.' He's not offended by your desire to quit; He's relieved you stopped performing and started talking. He's been waiting for THIS conversation.
