"If church leaders were real, they wouldn't hurt people like they hurt me."
How it sounds in your head: You gave years of service, poured out your heart in ministry, trusted them with your wounds. They sided with him. They protected the institution. They chose their reputation over your pain. If God was real, His people wouldn't be this fake.
"For He Himself has said, 'I will never leave you nor forsake you.'"

You have literal scars from serving a system that used you. The people who preached love from the platform practiced politics in the back room, and you saw behind the curtain.
Violated by her half-brother, then told by her full brother Absalom to 'be quiet' about it and live desolate in his house - silenced by family who should have protected her. God later put her in the genealogy of Jesus (Matthew 1:3), giving her a voice that echoes through eternity when earthly brothers silenced her.
I REFUSE the lie that leadership failure equals God's failure. IT IS WRITTEN that He will never leave me nor forsake me. What they did was about their brokenness, not my worth. I am Abraham's seed, heir according to PROMISE, and the BARAK blessing protects me even when God's people wound me. IT IS WRITTEN that those who honor Him will be honored, and He is restoring what was stolen in my season of service. I am the righteousness of God in Christ, and no human failure can revoke what He has spoken over me. The Father is running toward me with honor, not shame.
The Father watched every moment you were used, every time your tenderness was weaponized, every meeting where they protected image over truth. He is not asking you to 'forgive and move on' - He is holding you like the Prodigal while you still smell like the pig pen of their betrayal, whispering 'You're MINE, and I'm throwing you a party.'
