"I was the one who snitched, betrayed, switched sides. Nobody will ever trust me again."
How it sounds in your head: You talked to the cops, told the coach, broke code. Maybe it was right, but now you're THAT guy—the one who can't be trusted, who broke loyalty. Friend groups ice you out. Your name comes up and people say 'yeah, but remember what he did?'
"He said to him the third time, 'Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?' Peter was grieved because He said to him the third time, 'Do you love Me?' And he said to Him, 'Lord, You know all things; You know that I love You.' Jesus said to him, 'Feed My sheep.'"
-- John 21:17Enemy uses JUDAS narrative to block revelation of the PETER narrative—restoration after betrayal is the PATTERN of grace.
Trust is earned over years and destroyed in moments. You destroyed it. Social circles operate on loyalty codes, and you violated them. Once branded a snitch or traitor, the label sticks like permanent ink.
Peter DENIED knowing Jesus THREE TIMES with curses, publicly betrayed Him hours before crucifixion. Jesus reinstated him at breakfast by the sea, and 50 days later Peter preached at Pentecost—3,000 saved. From denier to church foundation in WEEKS.
I REFUSE the lie that betrayal is permanent identity. IT IS WRITTEN that after Peter denied Jesus, Jesus REINSTATED him and said 'feed My sheep.' I'm not JUDAS. I'm PETER—flawed, restored, PROMOTED. Past betrayal doesn't disqualify present calling. Jesus doesn't hold my worst moment against me. He sees my HEART. IT IS WRITTEN there is NO CONDEMNATION in Christ Jesus. People may remember, but GOD forgets. He's not waiting for me to earn trust back. He's POURING trust into me as a GIFT. The BARAK blessing covered JACOB THE DECEIVER. I'm in BETTER covenant. Restoration is INSTANT when I turn toward Him.
The Father isn't replaying your betrayal—He's RUNNING toward you with the robe and ring saying 'My son is HOME. Let's throw a party.' He doesn't care who you snitched on. He cares that you came back.
